It is a robust workhorse knife, made for individual chefs and dynamic talents who not only use but also appreciate the tasteful style of this exceptionally high-quality knife.
When craftsmanship becomes a passion. Modern tool set for the kitchen.
The craft movement has become an integral part of urban culture. Craft beer, barbering and handicrafts – modern people think of traditional values. The Wüsthof Crafter knife set is as varied as modern people's interests. It combines classic design, robust materials, a pleasant feel and safe handling.
A robust work knife for tasks that require a firm grip.
The Crafter lives up to its name. These are real working knives for chefs who enjoy craftsmanship in preparation. The Crafter knife pays tribute to Wüsthof's two centuries of knife-making tradition. The series consists of a vegetable knife, slicer, chef's knife, santoku and bread knife. A four-piece steak knife set is also part of the Crafter series.
A Crafter knife set for every preparation task. The knives are made from natural materials. The handle panels are made from solid smoked oak, which makes them water-resistant and gives the knives an unmistakable character. Their ergonomic shape fits comfortably in the hand. The hand guard at the end of the handle is designed to hold the knife securely. The robust handle panels are fixed with traditional brass rivets, which give the series its authentic character.
Distinctive features. The blade connects to the handle either with a full or a half bolster. It protects the fingers, and the balance makes for quick and precise work. The thin support structure reduces the weight of the knife and allows energy-saving work. The blade is forged from high-carbon stainless steel. This robust steel guarantees a long service life and precise cutting. Extending the blade into the handle ensures reliable stability and balance of the knife, with the blade acting as a counterweight.
• Hand guard – The ergonomic knife handle fits well in the hand, and the curved end of the handle prevents slipping. The robust handle panels are secured with traditional brass rivets.
• Handle – The handle panels are made of water-resistant smoked oak, giving the knife an unmistakable character with its unique grain and authentic logo.
• Full bolster – The full finger guard reliably protects the fingers during everyday cooking, and the balance makes for quick and precise work.
• Half bolster – The knife is lighter thanks to the thin finger guard. This allows energy-saving work. The design also allows use of the full blade and resharpening.
• Full tang – The blade runs through the handle, providing reliable stability for the forged knife. It also provides good balance as a counterweight to the cutting edge.
Dishwasher use not recommended.
