Further manufacturer information:
In 1990 Spyderco shook up the market with two knives, the Delica and the Endura. They were the first one-handed opening pocket knives that almost everyone could afford.
Refinement was continuous, and Spyderco labelled the ongoing upgrade and development process CQI – Constant Quality Improvement. Along the CQI path of the Endura and the Delica, Spyderco refined the ergonomics, produced finer blade steels and repeatedly fine-tuned performance. These are ongoing evolutionary works, and the next level is the new Endura 4 and Delica 4. Both models have a screw-based construction, which makes cleaning and adjustment easier.
The glass-fibre reinforced nylon handle is made with bidirectional texturing for better grip and improved ergonomics. Inside the handle, double skeletonised stainless steel liners make the knife stronger without adding excess weight, and secure all external and internal components, increasing strength and rigidity.
The VG-10 blade has a straight saber grind, with a stronger tip and a larger 13 mm opening hole. A non-slip thumb ramp is located on the spine of the blade. Phosphor bronze washers ensure smooth opening and closing, and the four-position pocket clip allows right- and left-hand carry, tip up and tip down.
Due to manufacturing capacity shortages, some of our EDC products shipped from the USA are experiencing delays. For pre-order products we can therefore only commit to longer lead times for importing products from the USA. For every order we notify customers by email about the entire procurement process, so arrival is more predictable in this situation too. Please keep an eye on your inbox after placing an order, as in some cases our message may end up in the spam / junk folder.
