In the 1980s the original Spyderco Endura set a tradition as one of the first lightweight, belt-clip folding knives. Today it remains one of Spyderco's most popular models and continues to set the standard for all knives of its kind. In its fourth generation it offers a wide range of variations to meet the needs of almost every user. All Endura 4 Lightweights can be recognised by their skeletonised stainless steel liners and their injection-moulded glass-fibre reinforced nylon (FRN) handles. This model has a straight-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade with a PlainEdge cutting edge. This thin, extremely fine grind creates an incredible edge geometry that reduces friction for excellent cutting performance. The blade is secured by a strong back lock. The bidirectional textured pattern on the panels provides a secure, non-slip grip, and the four-position hourglass-shaped pocket clip allows the pocket knife to be carried on the left or right, tip up or tip down.
