Its wide, straight-ground blade offers impressive edge geometry and cutting performance. The oversized Round Hole opening, which also serves as Spyderco's trademark, proudly announces its origin and guarantees fast, reliable one-handed opening for both hands, even when wearing gloves. The blade pairs with a lightweight open-back handle featuring textured G-10 panels, embedded stainless steel liners and a strong LinerLock mechanism.
The elite version of the Military Model takes advanced design performance to new heights: the knife is made of Crucible CPM-S110V steel, the most modern stainless tool steel, produced by Crucible's powder metallurgy (CPM) process. The high vanadium and niobium alloy content of CPM-S110V provides exceptional wear resistance, while its increased chromium content makes it highly corrosion resistant.
As with all knives in Spyderco's CPM-S110V blade family, the textured G-10 handle panels of this version of the Military are a distinctive dark blue. For convenient carry and immediate access, the handle also includes an hourglass-shaped pocket clip for right-hand, tip-down carry.
