A rare and special collector's pocket knife made for Spyderco's 40th anniversary, the Native 5 Fluted Carbon Fiber model combines all the features and benefits of the iconic Native 5 with the extremely high-performance CPM-S90V stainless steel blade and stunning fluted carbon fiber handle scales. The result is a truly exceptional everyday carry pocket knife with a serious look. The linerless scales are carefully machined from solid carbon fiber, creating a beautiful sunburst pattern that also provides a fine non-slip surface. The stainless steel belt clip, screwed in four positions, allows all carry configurations. Together with the high-strength back lock mechanism and the fully accessible Round Hole opening, which also serves as a trademark, the versatile pocket clip fully enables all carry variants and one-handed use with either hand. The knife blade is made of premium CPM-S90V stainless steel. This advanced powder metallurgy steel is enriched with a high vanadium content to promote the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides. This improves the steel's wear resistance and edge retention, so more free chromium is available to provide outstanding corrosion resistance.
