A self-defence tool is useless without the skills needed to use it properly and effectively. The best way to develop those skills is to use the right training tools. The P’Kal Trainer is mechanically identical to the sharp-bladed P’Kal pocket knife, including the high-strength Ball Bearing lock and the removable Emerson opening feature, but its blunt edge and rounded tip ensure safe contact with a training partner. The 440C stainless steel blade has several holes, so its weight is very similar to the sharp version, and its bright red G-10 handle clearly identifies it as a training tool. Like the sharp P’Kal, it includes a reversible wire pocket clip for right- or left-hand tip-up carry, allowing every phase of training – carry, draw, opening and tactical contact – to be integrated into a smooth process.
