One of the most popular and sought-after pocket knives ever made, the Para Military 2 concentrates the performance and reliability of the Military model in a more compact, pocket-friendly format. It also adds the benefits of Spyderco's patented Compression Lock mechanism, a high-strength lock that allows the knife to be closed one-handed without fingers entering the path of the edge. The refined version of the Para Military 2 is made of CPM-S110V with a flat-ground blade, the most modern stainless tool steel, produced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) powder metallurgy process. The alloy of CPM-S110V, with high vanadium and niobium content, provides exceptional wear resistance, while its increased chromium content makes it extremely corrosion resistant.
As with all Spyderco knives with CPM-S110V blades, this version of the Para Military 2 has textured G-10 handle panels in a characteristic dark blue colour. It also has a four-position hourglass-shaped pocket clip that supports carry on the left or right, tip-up or tip-down.
