Opinel Picnic + accessories.
Smart accessories for eating on the go. This compact, lightweight and easy-to-carry set is made in France and is designed to replace disposable cutlery. For picnics, but also for office meals. Material: X5CrNi18-10 steel (austenitic stainless steel known for high corrosion resistance, the most common steel for cutlery).
The set, designed in collaboration with designer Franck Fontana, includes:
• A microfibre towel that serves as both storage and cleaning item.
• Two inserts: a fork and a spoon, which can be attached to a No.08 pocket knife.
The inserts are made of stainless steel, so they are pleasant to eat with, stable and hygienic (compatible with the wooden-handled No.08 pocket knives with Virobloc safety ring, sold since 2000).
To attach the fork or spoon:
• fold the knife blade in
• open the rotating ring
• attach the fork or spoon to the ring using the small notches
• close the ring
