Opinel Picnic+ Set.
Smart accessories for eating on the go. This compact, lightweight and easy-to-carry set is made in France and is designed to replace disposable cutlery. For picnics, or even for office meals. Made of X5CrNi18-10 steel (austenitic stainless steel known for its high corrosion resistance, the steel most commonly used for cutlery.)
Designed in collaboration with designer Franck Fontana, the set includes:
• Opinel No.08 Inox (12C27M) beech pocket knife
• A microfibre towel, which serves as both storage and cleaning item.
• Two inserts: a fork and a spoon, which can be attached to a No.08 pocket knife
The inserts are made of stainless steel, so they are pleasant to eat with and are stable and hygienic (compatible with the wooden-handled No.08 pocket knives with Virobloc safety ring sold since 2000).
To attach the fork or spoon:
• with the knife blade folded
• open the rotating ring
• attach the fork or spoon to the ring using the small notches
• close the ring
