This product is not stainless in material; it is coated with a thick layer of nickel. With proper use, this layer provides significant protection against rust. After each use, rinse all nickel-plated products under running water, then dry them thoroughly and store them.
For home use, disinfection is unnecessary. If the product is used professionally (by a manicurist or pedicurist), enquire which disinfectant may be used on nickel-plated tools (e.g. Barrycidal, etc.).
Please note that for professionals we recommend stainless tools, as they are easier to handle and disinfect.
