This product is not stainless in material; it is coated with a thick layer of nickel. When used as intended, this layer provides significant protection against rust. After use, all nickel-coated products should be rinsed under running water, then dried thoroughly and stored.
Disinfection is unnecessary for home use. For professional use (by a manicurist or pedicurist), check which disinfectant may be used on nickel-coated tools (e.g. Barrycidal, etc.).
Please note that for professionals we recommend tools made of stainless material, as they are simpler to handle and disinfect.
