Wüsthof Classic White series
The Wüsthof Classic knife series with white handle adds a special touch to the kitchen. With refined simplicity and striking elegance, these durable knives offer everything needed to prepare and serve fresh food. Perfectly balanced and comfortable to hold, they prepare the ingredients for every dish with effortless control.
Robust, sharp and functional: the classic kitchen tool series stands out for ease of use and is the right tool for every home cook and professional.
Forged from a single piece of stainless (X50CrMoV15) steel, 58 HRC hardness. This special, high-carbon, corrosion-resistant alloy ensures that the critical properties of every Wüsthof knife are retained from the start: razor-sharp, long-lasting cutting edge, high rust resistance, easily restored edge. Produced in 55 refined manufacturing steps, from forging through hardening and sharpening to polishing, and every perfectly made Classic knife passes more than 20 uncompromising quality control points. Particularly sharp thanks to the laser-guided Precision Edge Technology (PEtec) sharpening process. The final work done by hand by Wüsthof's experienced specialists gives extraordinary sharpness and fast, simple cutting. Comfortable and durable synthetic handle panels made of polyoxymethylene (POM), which has a denser molecular structure to resist fading and discolouration. The full bolster protects the hand, ensuring safety and even weight distribution. The robust handle panels are triple-riveted for durability.
Wüsthof technology offers outstanding sharpness: extremely high initial cutting performance, exceptionally long edge retention, long blade life, optimal cutting edge along the full length of the blade, and unique, consistently high and reproducible quality.
Entirely manufactured in Solingen, Germany.
The Wüsthof Classic series holds NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certification for public health and food safety.
• Full bolster: the full finger guard reliably protects fingers during everyday cooking, and the balance makes work quick and precise.
• Full tang: the blade runs through the handle, providing reliable stability. It also acts as a counterweight, balancing the blade.
• Hand guard: the ergonomic knife handle fits well in the hand, and the curved end of the handle prevents slipping. The robust handle panels are fixed with stainless steel rivets.
• Fluted blade: during cutting, small air pockets form in the recesses of the blade. This means thin or soft foods are easier to remove from the blade during use and do not stick.
• Precision double-serrated edge: the bread knife with its unique double-serrated edge cuts a hard crust just as easily as soft bread, or large fruits such as pumpkin. The difference compared with a traditional serrated edge is immediately noticeable.
