The stainless steel handle of the Delica 4 fills the palm but does not feel heavy or cumbersome. Those who prefer a heavier, more solid look seem drawn to knives with steel handles. As the handle surface is flat and smooth, it offers an ideal base for engraving or personalising the knife.
As part of Spyderco's CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) philosophy, the C11SS offers improved ergonomics: an anti-slip thumb ramp on the spine of the blade, a larger thumb hole, a stronger and thicker tip, and a new four-position pocket clip (right/left-hand, tip-up/tip-down carry). The VG-10 blade with sabre grind is available in PlainEdge, SpyderEdge or CombinationEdge versions.
