VG-10 (premium Japanese knife steel) in the core, forged from 37 layers of low and high carbon stainless steel; the handle has a uniquely designed robust surface and is fixed with internal hex screws. One of a kind. The name "GAI" comes from the Japanese word for "armour", which inspired the handle. The series has 4 models: utility knife, chef's knife, santoku and nakiri.
Damascus blade created by repeatedly forging two steels of different hardness. The edge is ground convex, so it cuts food easily and holds its edge well.
The handle is made of canvas micarta, which is durable, has good corrosion resistance and is strong against deterioration over time. The uniquely rough surface prevents the knife from slipping out of the hand.
