A technological development by Spyderco, based on a proven model, in terms of both the handle and blade material. The handle has a Digital Camouflage pattern, the result of a special design: engineering psychology was combined with visual biophysics and the study of human visual capabilities. The handle pattern is created with digitally developed micro-patterns, which reduce the knife's visibility during use to almost a minimum. Spyderco developed this model specifically for those serving in the US Army.
The Military model's low weight, unmatched durability and excellent performance make this new development even more attractive. The heart of the knife is steel; this time Spyderco has used an excellent CPM-S30V steel, which is fully stainless and has outstanding edge retention.
The blade features the well-proven Spyderco opening hole, which aids quick opening and closing, as well as use with gloves. On the back of the knife is a black pocket clip, with which the knife can be clipped to trousers and carried tip down.
The digital patterns on the knife's handle differ on each knife, so no two are alike.
