Tojiro Shippu Black DP Damascus slicing knife with 21 cm blade and chestnut wood handle.

Repeated forging of two steels of different hardness creates an elegant wave pattern, and the high uniformity of the VG-10 steel core ultimately results in maximum sharpness. The blade has been given a black oxide treatment, a technology often used for medical equipment. The blade therefore has outstanding corrosion resistance and a beautiful visual appearance. The chestnut wood handle has excellent durability, and the fire treatment applied to its surface makes it even stronger.
