Description
The self-sharpening effect comes from the contact between the titanium nitride-coated cutting edge, with a hardness of 75–80 HRC, and the other cutting edge of normal hardness during cutting. Used as intended (exclusively for cutting the skin of the nail bed of the hand), it keeps its sharpness for many years. German laboratory tests tested it for 103,000 cuts, after which the cutting performance of the scissors remained at 90%. Future sharpening: only on the normal cutting surface, in a specialist workshop.
The paint added to the titanium nitride coating disperses during the special manufacturing process, resulting in varied and unique colour shades. Therefore, slight shade differences from the image shown may occur.
