Wüsthof Classic White series
The Wüsthof Classic knife series with white handles adds a special touch to the kitchen. With refined simplicity and striking elegance, these timeless knives offer everything needed to prepare and serve fresh food. Perfectly balanced and comfortable to hold, they prepare the ingredients for every dish with effortless control.
Robust, sharp and functional - the classic kitchen tool series that stands out for its ease of use, and is the right tool for all home cooking and professionals. Blade forged from a single piece of stainless (X50CrMoV15) steel, 58 HRC hardness. This special, high-carbon, corrosion-resistant alloy ensures that every Wüsthof knife keeps its critical properties from the start: razor-sharp, long-lasting cutting edge, high rust resistance and an easily restored edge. Made in 55 refined production steps - from forging through hardening and sharpening to polishing - and every perfectly made Classic knife passes over 20 uncompromising quality control points. Especially sharp thanks to the Precision Edge Technology (PEtec) laser-controlled sharpening process. The final work by Wüsthof's experienced specialists, done by hand, delivers extraordinary sharpness and fast, simple cutting.
The handle panels are made of comfortable, durable synthetic material, polyoxymethylene (POM), which has a denser molecular structure to resist fading and discolouration. The full bolster protects the hand, ensuring safety and an even weight distribution. The robust handle panels are triple-riveted for durability.
Wüsthof technology offers outstanding sharpness: extremely high initial cutting performance, exceptionally long edge retention, long blade life, an optimal cutting edge along the entire length of the blade, and a unique, consistently high and reproducible quality. Made entirely in Solingen, Germany.
The Wüsthof Classic series holds NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) public health and food safety certification.
• Full bolster - The full finger guard reliably protects the fingers during everyday cooking, and the balance allows quick and accurate work.
• Full tang - The blade runs through the handle, providing reliable stability. It also acts as a counterweight, balancing the blade.
• Hand guard - The ergonomic knife handle fits well in the hand, and the curved handle end prevents slipping. The robust handle panels are fixed with stainless steel rivets.
• Grooved blade - When cutting, small air pockets form at the blade's recesses. The positive effect is that thin or soft foods are easier to remove from the blade during use and do not stick.
• Precision double-serrated edge - The bread knife with its unique double-serrated edge cuts hard crusts as easily as soft bread, or large fruit such as pumpkin. The difference compared to a traditional serrated edge is immediately noticeable.
